Q. Is the Transfer Fund backed by the Club?
Yes. The club is aware of the fund and we have worked closely with them over the past few months whilst everything has been put in place and they are very interested to see what we can achieve between us.
Q. Is the Transfer Fund run by the AFC Supporters Trust?
No. The Transfer Fund is operated in conjunction with the AFC Supporters Trust but all funds raised are kept separate. This is not a means of discussing the way in which the club is run, the AFC Supporters Trust is the place for that, we simply aim to raise as much money as we can for the club.
Q. Can I donate without a Credit Card?
Yes. It is possible to donate using a Paypal account which may not mean you require a Credit or Debit Card. Please see paypal.co.uk for more information.
Q. Can we choose who to buy?
No. Sadly it would not be feasible to have 10,000 Don's fans decide who we buy! Everyone is an armchair pundit and has an opinion, they may not always be correct but thats what makes football the great game it is.
Q. Can't the club fund new players?
The club is being run in a prudent manner and the board are trying hard to steady the ship and deal with the debt at the club. Sadly this means we are not as active in the transfer market as we once were but given time we will see the long-term benefits of this.
Q. Can I donate from outwith the UK?
Yes. Paypal can cope perfectly well with non UK based donations with or without a Paypal account. We know Aberdonians are well travelled and while you can't always make it back from Baku, Macaé, Brondby or anywhere else you may be you can always donate online.
